(End of) Summertime Sadness

This has been my go to summer outfit. I have worn this outfit a lot this summer.

Summer is officially over. There is no denying the wave of sadness I feel when I think this. Whenever the summer ends I always feel like my freedom dies with it. I'm going to miss the long beautiful nights, meaningful conversation at campfires, exploring all the time. I'll miss riding trains watching the world go by taking me somewhere exciting and finding amazing bookstores. Most of all I'll miss my friends that I see a lot of in the summer. I am allowing myself feel nostalgic so I can move into the next chapter in my life.

These denim shorts have been through a lot this summer. They were with me when I had to find art supplies before I started classes at Fashion Institute of Technology. They were with me many times during class at FIT. They were also with me when I went to the beach just watching the sea. Until next year denim high waisted shorts. I will miss you and the summer.
